MP Ragy el-Saad, member of the Democratic Gathering parliamentary bloc, stressed on Sunday “the importance of dialogue and consensus during this delicate and difficult period that Lebanon is going through, despite current differences on the issue of the presidential election,” adding, “We cannot come to a solution without dialogue.”

During a meeting with Lebanese businessmen in Los Angeles, organized by the representative of the Progressive Socialist Party, Sami Kadi, Saad emphasized the need to “apply Lebanese laws and the Constitution in order to build a state.”

Highlighting the severity of the economic situation, he warned against the “disintegration of the army, which ensures Lebanon’s stability.” In this context, he called on Lebanese expatriates to “exert their influence on decision-makers abroad” and to support Lebanon economically and politically.
