In its closing statement, the 32nd Summit of the Arab League urged the swift election of a new president, the quick formation of a Lebanese government, and the repatriation of Syrian refugees.

These statements underscored the need for structural economic and financial reforms, in addition to maintaining stability in state institutions for Lebanon to exit the crisis it is in.

The summit recognized the right of Lebanon to liberate and recover its territories, namely the Shebaa Farms, the Lebanese part of the town of Ghajar, and the Kfarchouba Hills. It also acknowledged its right to resist any Israeli aggression by legitimate means, stressing on the importance of differentiating between resistance and terrorism.
