Israeli forces have intensified their military campaign in southern Lebanon, launching a series of airstrikes and artillery shelling in multiple areas.

The heightened aggression has resulted in at least six deaths and 25 injuries following an airstrike on the town of al-Aqabiya, located in southern Lebanon.

Israeli army spokesperon Avichay Adrae posted on X Wednesday : " If you are near or inside buildings belonging to Hezbollah or those used to store weapons, you must move away from those buildings at least a kilometer away or out of the village immediately.

Anyone near Hezbollah members is putting themselves in danger. "

Strikes are reported in Seddiqine, Arabsalim, Bayt Lif, and Sultaniyeh. The strikes also hit Debaal, Bazourieh, and Qlayleh in the Tyre district. Strikes were also reported in Beit Yahoun and Bayt Lif in Bint Jbeil as well as Markaba in Marjayoun. Arab Salim in Iqlim al-Tuffah.

In Saida’s Ansariyeh district, Israeli bombardment set several buildings ablaze, with reports of one civilian killed. Further strikes targeted the region around the Lahad Bridge, an inactive structure between Marjayoun and Jezzine, although no damage to roads or operational bridges has been reported.

Earlier this morning, a series of strikes hit the Bekaa Valley, deep within the country.

Hezbollah has so far claimed attacks against Kiryat Shmona and the Naftali Mountains. Also, families living near Sidon, received calls from the Israeli army, demanding that they evacuate their homes.

Hezbollah also claimed a new strike against " The logistical warehouses of the 146th reserve division at the Naftali barracks "

The Israeli army reported Tuesday that more than 100 rockets have been launched by Hezbollah at northern Israel by noon today, with “the majority intercepted and several projectiles” damaging buildings in the area, the Israeli military stated in a press release. According to Haaretz, fires broke out in the village following these rocket attacks.

As per a decision of the Bekaa governorate, all public institutions will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday to “ensure the safety of employees and citizens.”

US officials told CNN that Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon have significantly weakened Hezbollah, potentially setting it back 20 years.

Lebanon residents are still fleeing with gridlocked traffic in a number of areas.

A UNICEF official reported that at least 35 children have been killed in Israeli strikes on Lebanon with “others still buried under the rubble.”
