The Anti-Drug Unit at the Lebanese Customs managed to seize approximately 800 kilograms of drugs professionally concealed within wooden models placed inside a bulletproof box, intended for smuggling to Kuwait via an initial shipment from Lebanon to the Netherlands.

One person has been detained, and efforts are underway to apprehend others involved. The confiscated items and the suspect have been handed over to the Central Anti-Drug Office.

The caretaker Minister of Interior, Bassam Mawlawi, announced a successful joint operation between Kuwaiti and Lebanese Ministries of Interior to combat drug trafficking.
