The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) announced Wednesday that contributions would be calculated on the basis of a minimum salary of LBP 18 million.

NSSF Director General Mohammad Karaki declared, in a statement, that as of April 1, 2024, contributions for institutions and private groups are to be calculated on the basis of the official minimum wage of LBP 18 million per month and LBP 820,000 per day.

In addition, the maximum deductible income for the health and maternity insurance branch is set at LBP 90 million.
