Pope Francis intends to visit Portugal in August, says Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State, as a pilgrimage to the shrine of Fatima takes place in the center of the country. The catholic devotees celebrate the anniversary of Fatima’s miracle, when three shepherd children claimed to have seen the Virgin Mary in May 1917.
