The Lebanon U18 women’s basketball team crushed their counterparts from the Maldives (102-21) on Wednesday during the third and final day of the first round of the U18 Asian Championship, which is being held in Shenzhen (China) until June 30.

The quarter scores were as follows: (17-5), (41-11), (76-13), and (102-21).

Lebanon dominated their opponent from start to finish. At the end of the first round, the Lebanese team finished in second place in their group behind the Philippines.

This is Lebanon’s second victory in this continental championship after previously defeating Syria and losing to the Philippines.

Consequently, the Lebanese team qualified for the second round to face Hong Kong on Friday, with this round being a qualifier for the semifinals since Thursday is a rest day for all teams.

It should be noted that the team that wins the championship qualifies for the top level of this age category in Asia.
