Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi attended on Wednesday the first edition of the Arab Military Equestrian Championship, held at the Misr Olympic City in the new administrative capital.

The championship runs from April 24 to 27, with the participation of 11 Arab countries: Egypt, Libya, Qatar, Algeria, Kuwait, Tunisia, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.

In the space of five years, Egypt has been able to realize its “dream” of possessing sports facilities worthy of the status of the country and its people. It is now capable of hosting world championships that meet the standards of international federations.
