The Lebanese swimming team continued to collect medals during the sixth Arab Championship hosted by the United Arab Emirates’ capital, Abu Dhabi. On this second day, the Cedar team secured 10 colorful medals and set two new local records. The results of the second day are as follows:

Marie Khoury: Silver medal for the 50-meter butterfly race, clocking 28.88 seconds (a new record, previously 28.90 seconds by swimmer Gabriella Hillel).

Simon Kabbara: Bronze medal for the 400-meter individual medley, recording 5:11.01 minutes.

Alexandre Younes: Bronze medal for the 400-meter medley with a time of 4:39.69.

Lynn El Hajj: Gold medal for the 50-meter breaststroke, clocking 33.29 seconds.

Lana Hijazi: Gold medal for the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:09.03 (a new record, previously 2:10.83 by swimmer Gabriella Douaihi).

Simon Douaihi: Gold medal for the 200-meter freestyle, recording 1:51.54.

4×400 meters medley relay for the female team composed of Taline Mourad, Lynn El Hajj, Mari Khoury, and Lana Hijazi: Gold medal with a time of 4:27.30.

4×400 meters medley relay for the male team composed of Ahmad Safiya, Alexandre Younes, Farid Zidan, and Simon Douaihi: Silver medal with a time of 3:58.45.

800 meters freestyle relay for the female team composed of Simon Kabbara, Taline Mourad, Lynn El Hajj, and Lana Hijazi: Silver medal with a time of 9:03.65.

800 meters freestyle relay for the male team composed of Ahmad Safiya, Alexandre Younes, Farid Zeidan, and Simon Douaihi: Silver medal with a time of 7:57.01.
