Hezbollah has reportedly created tunnels and established new warehouses in the disputed areas between Yammouneh and Aqoura in the Jbeil district, north of Beirut, according to informed sources.
The area, which is now considered a restricted military zone, stretches over several kilometers and includes several water basins, earning it the name of the “seven basins zone.”
Residents do not know what is happening around them as they are forbidden from approaching the area, which is classified as “secure,” according to circles close to the Iranian-backed party.
However, well-informed sources confirm the existence of tunnels in the Upper Metn region as well as in the Shiite areas of Jbeil.
