The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) announced that it has intercepted an attempt of illegal migration by Syrians through the coast of Abdeh in Akkar.
On June 21, the ISF arrested a group of 15 Syrians who entered Lebanon illegally, hiding on the roof of a building in the town of Wadi el-Rihane, waiting to embark towards Cyprus, according to the statement.
The ISF also seized four life jackets and eight telephone devices. The detainees and the confiscated items were handed over to the competent authorities.
