Leader of the Lebanese Forces (LF) Samir Geagea is meeting a delegation from the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) in Meerab. The delegation includes PSP leader MP Taymour Jumblatt and MPs Marwan Hamadeh, Akram Chehayeb and Wael Abu Faour, in the presence of MPs Ghassan Hasbani and Nazih Matta.
Meanwhile, former minister Ghazi Aridi visited, on behalf of former PSP leader Walid Jumblatt, Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri and the political assistant to the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hussein Khalil.
According to a PSP statement, “These visits are part of the PSP’s initiative towards political forces to encourage dialogue and consultation to achieve constitutional entitlements. At the forefront of these entitlements is the presidency and overcoming the delicate phase that Lebanon is going through in light of the Israeli aggression on Gaza and Lebanon.”
