Two people were killed on Monday in an Israeli drone strike that targeted an Islamic Jihad fighter near the Salah Ghandour hospital in Bint Jbeil. The Islamic Jihad fighter, riding his motorcycle, was killed in the strike, while a hospital guard, severely wounded, succumbed later.

In retaliation to this attack, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a salvo of 20 missiles against Kiryat Shmona, killing two people and causing a fire.

The exchange of fire between Hezbollah and the Israeli army intensified into the evening. The Israeli army bombarded the Labbouneh forest, causing fires. Late in the afternoon, the Israeli air force targeted a house in the Khallet Machta locality, in the village of Bint Jbeil.

For its part, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for attacks on the Zebdine barracks and the al-Sammaka site.
