Israel was able to kill the Hezbollah member, Abou Ali, who shot down the “Hermes 450,” a drone which the Israeli army relies on a lot, especially in Lebanese territory.
March 8 political sources revealed that this member, who was killed in Adloun, is accused by Israeli authorities of being “the one who shot down the Hermes 450 over South Lebanon.”
According to information, Hezbollah’s capabilities in confronting drones surprised the Israeli side, which reconsidered drone use.
It is noteworthy that the Hermes 450 was shot down by a “surface-to-air” missile on April 21, during a combat mission above Aishiye town in South Lebanon. The Israeli army announced that it was starting investigations, after raiding the site from which the missile was fired.
Earlier this year, Hezbollah also declared downing the same kind of drone twice, in November and February.
