An American official has reportedly told a Lebanese businessman that certain countries within the international community are trying to implement a plan to move Syrians out of Lebanon and settle Palestinians displaced in 1948 there.
No details of this plan were provided, although a European official was quoted as saying that displaced Syrians would return to their country as soon as President Bashar al-Assad began his regional activities, taking part in Arab meetings to find possible solutions to the crisis.
