British Foreign Minister David Cameron is expected in Beirut on Thursday, the second leg of a regional tour that took him to Oman, where he called for an immediate humanitarian pause in Gaza.

Blinken on Fresh Mideast Tour ‘In Coming Days’

Cameron will be received at 11 a.m. by the caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, and then by the Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, for discussions focusing in particular on the explosive situation in south Lebanon and diplomatic efforts for a long-term settlement, whether in Gaza or on the southern border with Israel.
