Unabating tensions persisted Tuesday on the southern border of Lebanon between Hezbollah and Israel, marked by Israeli airstrikes near Khiam’s chalet area. Ambulances swiftly rushed to the raid site.

The Israeli army announced that their aircraft raided a Hezbollah command headquarters and reconnaissance site in Khiam late afternoon.  It also announced that it had attacked a Hezbollah military building in Aita al-Shaab and Mouhaybib.

Throughout the day, Israeli artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab, Al-Hadab, Labouneh, and Naqoura at different times.

Earlier, the Israeli army used heavy machine guns from Birkat Risha targeting Aita al-Shaab, followed by airstrikes reportedly hitting a house in the Al-Rajm neighborhood.

Mays al-Jabal also witnessed aircraft raids where a four-story house was flattened, but no casualties were reported.

The Israeli army also announced that a missile from Lebanon had landed in a field near Aramcha and that it had returned fire.

Further airstrikes occurred between Hula and Mays al-Jabal, and in the Al-Waer area between Beit Lif and Yater.

Simultaneously, Hezbollah aimed missile weapons at the vicinity of the Hadab Yarin site and claimed to have targeted spy equipment near the village of Al-Wazzani.

Israeli Army Radio reported artillery bombings on southern Lebanon sites,in response to shells that targeted Western Galilee.

In the evening, two rockets from Lebanon hit a military target in the settlement of Metula.
