Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Al-Bukhari, received his French counterpart, Hervé Magro, at his residence in Yarzeh on Thursday for talks on efforts being deployed by their respective countries to speed up the presidential election process and help Lebanon overcome its multiple crises amid regional developments.

Discussions tackled the major political developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries.

Saudi Arabia and France, along with the United States, Qatar, and Egypt, are part of the group of five states concerned with unblocking the presidential election in Lebanon.
