MPs Mark Daou, Michel Doueihy and Waddah Sadek have announced the creation of the Change Coalition parliamentary bloc.
The bloc, announced on Thursday after the adjournment of the legislative session mainly devoted to extending the term of office of Army Commander-in-Chief General Joseph Aoun, is “one of the steps geared towards launching a coalition that includes forces and parties of change from different regions of Lebanon,” wrote Daou on his X account. This is, in his words, “a qualitative evolution in the work of Lebanon’s young political forces.”
