Both Israel and Hezbollah breached the Gaza truce on Saturday. Israeli forces targeted a vehicle in the Wazzani area, which belonged to a resident from the town of Kfar Kila. Despite the vehicle being struck by five shots, the driver miraculously escaped injury and was subsequently evacuated from the scene by a military patrol.

Additionally, the Israeli Army fired shots into the air to intimidate farmers working in their fields in the Hounin Valley.

Earlier, at around 2:30 AM, a missile exploded in the airspace of Mays al-Jabal and Blida in the Marjayoun district.

Israeli Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated that “an intercepting missile was launched toward a suspicious airborne target. This led to the activation of alarms, and the incident was concluded.”

The sounding of alarms was reported in the Galilee region due to concerns about drone infiltrations from Lebanon.

On Saturday morning, the Israeli Army confirmed it had intercepted a surface-to-air missile launched from Lebanon toward an Israeli drone in the final hours of the truce that halted the fighting in the Gaza Strip.

In response, the Israeli Army targeted Hezbollah’s infrastructure, clarifying that its drone was undamaged and no alarms were activated.

Overall, cautious calm has prevailed along the southern border region since the initiation of a truce between Hamas and Israel, effective yesterday morning. Displaced individuals have been returning to their towns since yesterday, with some resuming work.
