The South of Lebanon has once again been the battleground for Israeli and Hezbollah conflict, including the targeting of the government hospital in Mays al-Jabal.

At around 1 PM on Friday, Israeli shells fell near the government hospital in Mays al-Jabal. The hospital’s director, Hussein Yassin, reported damage to the emergency department and minor injuries to the emergency physician.

The Israeli army also launched airstrikes on the towns of Majdal Zun, Blida, Aita al-Shaab, Kfar Hamam, Yater, Yaroun, Kfarchouba, Al-Habariyah, Rashaya al-Fakhoury.

The airstrikes followed the Israeli army’s report of drone attacks being sent from Lebanon to its positions in the Galilee.

Israeli artillery then targeted the hills of Kfarchouba, the heights of Shebaa, the Qala area on the eastern outskirts of Blida, the Krom area, Khallet Ali Mansour on the outskirts of Mhaybib, Hula, Markaba, Mays al-Jabal and Sahl al-Wazani.

When Israeli artillery shelling reached Marwahin and Umm al-Tut, sirens were triggered at the UNIFIL headquarters in Naqoura.

Reports confirm that the strikes also hit residential homes, with one injured in Hula.

The Al-Risala Health Emergency Association worked to evacuate a family in Mays al-Jabal after their home was shelled, with information about minor injuries.

Israeli white phosphorus shells and bombs reached the town of Markaba.

Meanwhile, Tyre residents report that warplanes are still occupying the area’s sky.

As for Hezbollah’s retaliation, they targeted the Israeli territory of Metula with a guided missile.

The town of Adaisseh witnessed fierce clashes after Hezbollah targeted the Miskaf settlement.

Israeli media reported that three anti-tank missiles were fired at a military base in the Margaliot region, near the border with Lebanon. They added that five drones penetrated Israeli airspace in the north, and one aircraft was intercepted.

The Israeli army announced that five of its members were wounded in the attacks.

Hezbollah announced that seven of its members were killed today, bringing the total number up to 68 since the start of the conflict.
