The chairman of the Saydet el-Jabal Gathering, Fares Souhaid, visited Tripoli MP General Ashraf Rifi on Saturday, heading a delegation comprised of several members of the Gathering as well as representatives from the Jbeil region.
Participants in the meeting stressed “the need to bring together all sovereignist forces to confront Iran’s project in Lebanon.” Emphasis was also placed on “commitment to the State, the Taif Agreement, and international resolutions”.
This initiative is part of the coordination efforts between the various components of the sovereignist current.
