Caretaker Ministers of Public Works, Ali Hamieh, and Energy, Walid Fayad, visited the logistics base at Beirut Airport.
This base is specially designed for the takeoff and landing of helicopters tasked with providing services to the TransOcean Barents drilling platform, which arrived this Wednesday in Block 9.
Hamieh expressed hope that “Lebanon would become an oil-producing country, thereby exuding a sense of positivity among all the Lebanese.”
