Member of Parliament Taymour Jumblatt praised on Saturday “the historically strong relationship” between Moukhtara and Saudi Arabia. During a meeting with a delegation of Lebanese businessmen in Saudi Arabia, Jumblatt emphasized Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support for Lebanon, particularly during the trials the country has faced and continues to endure. “The Kingdom has never abandoned Lebanon,” added the leader of the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP).
Jumblatt reiterated his party’s policy of dialogue with all political factions in search of national solutions. “We have always been and will remain advocates of reconciliation among the people of the nation. We defend the citizens in their aspirations to build a state of citizenship and social justice,” he stated.
During a meeting with popular delegations, MP Jumblatt also highlighted the need to pay special attention to the issues facing the youth in order to strengthen their presence in their homeland and reduce their emigration abroad.
