Originating from Sri Lanka, Ethiopia and Cameroon, these individuals lead a very precarious life in a crisis-ridden country. These men and women have made the difficult decision to leave their home countries and seek employment in Lebanon to make ends meet. This Is Beirut takes you to meet these migrant workers who fell prey to an array of abuses that include but are not limited to unpaid wages, forced confinement and extended working hours.
