More and more Lebanese people are choosing to settle in the UAE’s largest city. However, while Dubai has long been popular among those looking to develop their careers, the goal of the newcomers is quite different: to escape the economic crisis in Lebanon.
Impressive skyscrapers and avant-garde projects… the contrasts with Beirut’s authenticity are striking, both in terms of urbanism and lifestyle. Nonetheless, the presence of Lebanese people in various strata of society and the explosion of businesses from the Country of Cedars, are gradually allowing this tight-knit community to recreate a home away from home.
