From Friday, April 19 to Thursday, April 25, the Ogero Employees’ Union will observe a new strike in support of the demands of the Federation of Independent Services and Public Establishments Unions.

All centers and offices will be closed, and maintenance and repair work suspended.

It should be noted in this context that the Ogero strike, in the event of breakdowns, will affect Internet services throughout the country, since the operator provides data to all access providers.

The Union of Électricité du Liban (EDL) employees have also called a strike from Friday, April 19 to Thursday, April 25 in support of the Federation.

Employees of Ogero, Lebanon’s public telephone and Internet provider, have already gone on strike on March 27 and April 3 and 4, to press for salary adjustments and raises.
