Caretaker Energy Minister Walid Fayad said on Tuesday, June 27, that “as the encroachments on the power grid decrease, there will be an increase in the duration of electricity supply.”
In a televised interview, Fayad pointed out that “the electricity tariff will be reviewed every two months.”
He clarified that since March 14 of last year until today, the Electricité du Liban institution has been collecting funds that “have not been converted into dollars” at the Central Bank of Lebanon.
