Israeli warplanes attacked the village of Maaysrah, resulting in the death of three people and leaving nine wounded, according to the Health Emergency Operations Center.
Sheikh Mohammad Amr, a local Hezbollah official for the North and Mount Lebanon, was the intended target of the raid. The Israeli army had already announced plans for extensive attacks in the South and the Bekaa, prompting the air force to break the sound barrier in multiple locations.
Warplanes bombed a region near the oil installations in Zahrani, south of Saida. Israel also conducted a series of attacks in central Bekaa following reported rocket fire on the Galilee, in northern Israel.

Israeli warplanes launched three consecutive airstrikes in the vicinity of Hermel after Hezbollah announced that it had shelled the Ilania base with a salvo of Fadi-1 rockets.
Earlier on Wednesday, at around 9 AM, the Israeli air force announced a new round of attacks in Lebanon, targeting eleven communities in the south, including Haboush, Naqoura, Qlayleh, Arabsalim and other villages. The frequency of airstrikes increased in the southern and Bekaa regions, with the Israeli army reporting the interception of a rocket fired from Lebanon toward Tel Aviv.
This morning, Hezbollah announced the firing of a Qadir-1 ballistic missile aimed at Mossad headquarters on the outskirts of Tel Aviv. The pro-Iranian group claimed that the targeted base “is responsible for blowing up pagers and walkie-talkies and for assassinating commanders.”
The Israeli army urged residents of border villages in Lebanon to stay away from their homes. Meanwhile, the Lebanese Red Cross issued an urgent plea for blood donations due to the rising number of casualties.
Israeli airstrikes on the village of Al-Qantara resulted in the death of photojournalist Kamel Karaki from Al-Manar TV. Following airstrikes on the town of Jiyeh, the Beirut-South highway was blocked by rocks and rubble, forcing traffic to be redirected to the Jiyeh Sea Road.
Last night, Israel conducted a series of violent raids on southern Lebanon, targeting the suburbs of Humin and Rumain in Iqlim al-Tuffah and Yater. Earlier that day, at around 3 PM, an Israeli airstrike hit a residential building in Ghobeiri, causing three floors to collapse. The specialized search and rescue teams of the General Directorate of Civil Defense completed their operations and conducted a comprehensive survey of the site. According to the final toll issued by the Directorate, six people died and fifteen were injured.
As the situation continues to escalate, both sides remain on high alert, with the humanitarian impact becoming increasingly severe.
