A police officer and four policemen were wounded Wednesday when a car exploded in a police station in the Barzah suburb of the Syrian capital Damascus, the Syrian Interior Ministry declared.
There were no immediate information about the circumstances of the explosion which rocked the area.
“Fire brigades, criminal police and ambulances rushed to the scene immediately to attend to the wounded while investigation into the incident is underway,” the Ministry said in a statement.
