Israeli airstrikes were conducted across Lebanon from dawn until Monday morning, targeting central Beirut, Baalbeck-Hermel, and southern Lebanon.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Public Health, the death toll in the last 24 hours has risen to 105, with 359 wounded.

Beirut

At dawn, Israeli warplanes targeted a residential apartment in the Cola area, central Beirut, killing three members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

South

In the south, an Israeli airstrike on the Bass camp in Tyre killed Hamas commander in Lebanon, Fateh Charif Abou al-Amin, along with his wife and two sons.

Additionally, five members of the Civil Defense of the Islamic Health Authority were killed when Israeli warplanes struck their centers in the town of Sahmar. Three people were also killed in a raid near Baanafoul Square in the Saida district. In another incident, an Israeli drone hit a car in the southern town of Arzoun, though no injuries were reported.

An aircraft attacked a house in the town of Tayr Harfa, though no casualties were reported.

Israeli warplanes carried out two raids on the towns of Kfarchouba and Kfar Hamam in the Hasbayya district, and two raids on Shaqra and Braashit.

Beqaa

In the Beqaa region, two missiles were fired at Hermel at 2 AM, hitting two houses in al-Shalman and Hosh al-Sayed Ali, resulting in the deaths of ten people and injuring 20 members of the same family. The victims were members of the Islamic Health Authority’s paramedic teams, whose center in Sahmar had been targeted earlier at dawn.

An Israeli airstrike also hit the Syrian Jdeidet Yabous border crossing with Lebanon. Al-Hadath reported that the group targeted in Jdeidet Yabous was involved in transporting Hezbollah operatives across the border.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation quoted Foreign Minister Israel Katz, who stated that “the full implementation of UN Security Council resolutions on Lebanon is the way to achieve a ceasefire.” Katz also added, “The only way to reach an agreement is to move Hezbollah north of the Litani and disarm it. We reject any compromise with Hezbollah and will not agree to a ceasefire.”

Additionally, the Israeli military reported intercepting a drone that had entered the economic waters in the north.

The UN

Some 100,000 people have fled to Syria from Lebanon due to Israeli air strikes, a figure that has doubled in two days, the United Nations’ refugee head said on Monday.

“The number of people who have crossed into Syria from Lebanon fleeing Israeli airstrikes — Lebanese and Syrian nationals — has reached 100,000,” Filippo Grandi said on X.
