A cooperation protocol was signed on Tuesday between Army Director of Military Medicine General Dani Bechrawi and French Armed Forces’ Director General of Health Services Major Jacques Margery in Yarzeh, in the presence of the Army’s Commander-in-Chief, General Joseph Aoun, and French ambassador to Lebanon Hervé Magro.
The protocol aims to provide support for military medicine in terms of training medical teams, supplying medical equipment and developing military dispensaries.
General Aoun also discussed ways of supporting the military institution in the current context and the exceptional challenges it faces.
