After a four-year hiatus, the digital magazine of the Agenda Culturel has made a dazzling comeback, offering 350 pages and featuring more than 140 events that capture the vibrant, robust and cultural spirit of Beirut. This issue, number 597, marks a renewal, testifying to the city’s richness and resilience.

In her editorial, Myriam Nasr Shuman addresses the question of faith in the face of injustice, particularly when discussing the situation of the Palestinian people. She writes, “Faith can move mountains, but one must still be able to maintain it.” She expresses the challenges of sustaining this faith, a cornerstone during difficult times. Despite doubts and discussions, the team of the Agenda Culturel, driven by an “unconditional faith in our country,” has successfully relaunched the publication.

The digital magazine unveils a capital sparkling with activities, reflecting “the vitality of Lebanese cultural life, its resilient resistance, its creativity and entrepreneurial spirit” that characterize its people. Readers are encouraged to participate in these events and performances, thus immersing themselves in enriching cultural experiences.

Myriam Nasr Shuman and her team warmly thank the R.A.M. Foundation and Robert Matta for their constant support. This assistance has been crucial for the magazine’s revival, enabling them to “gather the necessary energy to continue our activity as before …”

The team of the Agenda Culturel invites its readers to the next issue, wishing them an end of the year that is “as calm and serene as possible.”
