To celebrate the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France, the Force Commander’s Reserve held a UNIFIL Rugby Day at the Tyre Municipal Stadium on Friday. The event brought together military personnel and civilians of several nationalities to enjoy the sport. It served as a powerful demonstration of unity and peacekeeping efforts, bringing together individuals from various nations dedicated to maintaining peace in southern Lebanon. Beyond the rugby matches, the event also fostered a profound cultural exchange between France and other participating nations, as well as the local population. As a reminder, the 2023 Rugby World Cup is to be held in France from September 8 to October 28.
