Every year, in celebration of the feast of the Assumption, devoted believers embark on a symbolic journey spanning over 25km from Ehden to Zghorta. This pilgrimage culminates at the Church of Our Lady of Zghorta, where the faithful gather after a 4-hour walk. They attend the annual mass and come together to partake in the traditional Assumption Hrisseh.
The route not only covers a considerable distance but also involves a significant elevation gain of 1300m, adding a physical and spiritual dimension to this sacred tradition.
