After a long night of violence, Israeli warplanes struck the outskirts of Siddiqin and Kafra early on Thursday morning, killing a member of Hezbollah and injuring another.
Artillery shelling also hit Bayt Lif, while Aita al-Shaab was targeted by a Merkava tank, and machine gun fire was heard in Ramya. Israeli artillery shelling also reached a house in Mays al-Jabal.
The Israeli raids extended to other villages, notably Yater. An Israeli drone also dropped an incendiary bomb on the Tal al-Nahhas area near the town of Kfar Kila.
Throughout Wednesday night, Israeli warplanes intermittently raided areas along the Litani opposite Zawtar and Deir Seryan, seemingly to hinder civil defense and firefighting efforts. These raids aimed to prevent the extinguishing of fires that had erupted during the night due to earlier airstrikes.
From midnight until dawn, Israeli reconnaissance flights were observed over the occupied Shebaa Farms and the Arkoub region in the Hasbaya district. These flights reached as far as the heights of Jabal al-Sheikh, overlooking Rashaya al-Wadi, the Bekaa Valley, and Iqlim al-Tuffah. Simultaneously, incendiary phosphorus shells were fired at the forests of Rachaya al-Foukhar, Kfar Hamam, and Hebbariyeh, igniting fires in the pine and oak forests.
Avichay Adraee, the Israeli Army’s Arabic-speaking spokesperson, claimed on X that “the Army had attacked over 10 launch pads and military infrastructure sites belonging to Hezbollah” in southern Lebanon, specifically in “Jebine, East Zutar, and Ramya.”
