An Israeli raid on a house in the center of Mays al-Jabal on Sunday morning left a family of four civilians dead, father Fadi Hnaiki and his sons Mohammed and Ahmed, as well as his second wife Maya Ammar. The raid also resulted in several injuries. Ambulance teams promptly evacuated the wounded to hospitals in the region. Meanwhile, civil defense teams continued their search and debris removal efforts.

In retaliation, Hezbollah stated that they hit Kiryat Shmona with dozens of Katyusha and Falaq rockets in response. According to Israeli media, an Israeli was injured when one of the rockets fired from Lebanon landed on a street in Kiryat Shmona, where sirens were sounding.

According to preliminary information, the wounded in Southern Lebanon include the head of the Mays al-Jabal Civil Defense Center and his wife, whose condition “is considered very critical.”

Reports mentioned that while several residents of the town were inspecting their homes and shops for damage caused by the continuous attacks over the past seven months, Israeli warplanes attacked the public square in the town of Mays al-Jabal, causing destruction.

The exchange of fire continued on the southern front between Hezbollah and Israel, where Naqoura, Ramya and Aita al-Shaab were shelled earlier, as well as Aitaroun.
