Caretaker Minister of Interior Bassam Mawlawi scheduled the municipal elections for Mount Lebanon for May 12.
He called on the electoral colleges of Mount Lebanon to elect the members of the municipal councils and to determine the number of councils for each governorate. He also invited them to elect the Mukhtars and to proceed with the formation of the Mukhtar councils while determining the number of their members.
