“Bin Salman expressed his support to Lebanon to overcome its crisis,” Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati stated to “Al-Riyadh” newspaper, adding that the Crown Prince stressed on “the needed conditional reforms, and the need for Lebanon’s institutions to fulfill its role, especially in the election of a new Lebanese President”.
He went on to highlight Lebanon’s role in thwarting drug smuggling to the Kingdom, and asserted the government’s commitment in preventing any threats that target it or any Arab nation.
Mikati reiterated Bin Salman’s concern over Lebanon’s stability, emphasizing that regional agreements conducted by the Kingdom, will contribute to establishing stability, progress, and development in the region.
