An Israeli drone attack in Abbasiya, near Tyre, on Wednesday, injured at least 17 people, including four in critical condition, according to the Public Health Emergency Operation Center of the Ministry of Public Health.  It remains unclear who was the intended target.

A separate airstrike on the town of Rab Thalatheen resulted in two injuries.

Heavy Israeli artillery shelling was reported on residential neighborhoods in Hula and the outskirts of Habariyeh and Rashaya al-Foukhar. The Israeli army announced that its air force hit Hezbollah infrastructure in Aita al-Shaab.

In response, Hezbollah, in a statement, assumed responsibility for “shelling the spy equipment in Metulla site,” claiming “direct hits leading to its destruction.”

In another statement, Hezbollah announced “targeting a gathering of Israeli soldiers in Shtula with rocket weaponry and achieving a direct hit.”

Later, the pro-Iranian group also claimed responsibility for targeting the Baghdadi position as wel as the Zebdin barracks.

On Tuesday night, Israeli planes carried mock raids over the south and launched incendiary shells and illuminating bombs over the villages of Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts.

Israeli planes also released thermal balloons.
