Hezbollah’s central council member Nabil Kaouk said on Saturday that Hezbollah’s military operations against the Israeli army “will continue as long as the aggression against Gaza continues.”

“The Resistance in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen and Iraq has succeeded in imposing (on the Israeli army) a real battle of attrition,” he added.

Kaouk then mentioned the emergency Arab summit on Gaza, which is being held today Saturday, in Riyadh. According to him, the Gazan people expect from the Arab leaders meeting in the Saudi capital to “sever their relations” with Israel. In his view, Arab states should “take steps to prevent economic, political, security and military normalization with Israel.”

“An Arab summit that did not reach these conclusions would disappoint Palestine and pave the way for Israel to continue its attacks on Gaza,” he insisted.

This statement, which comes just hours before Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah’s speech at 3 PM, offers a glimpse of what Nasrallah might put forward.
