On Friday morning, Saleh Zaaroub, PhD student at the Maqassed University of Beirut, defended his thesis online, from the besieged city of Gaza where he lives. Despite the bombings and shortages, the student concluded his studies by presenting to the jury the final results of his research on the study of peaceful social movements with regard to the different Islamic legal schools.
