The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), in coordination with the Army, managed to extract a group of seven Lebanese and foreign journalists, including Iranians, and their fixers from the shooting zone near Houla, a town located on the southern border with Israel, on Thursday evening.

The journalists, who apparently did not inform the relevant authorities of their destination, found themselves in the crossfire between the Israeli Army and Hezbollah in Houla.

One of the fixers, whose identity has not been disclosed, was killed during the exchange of automatic gunfire. Another member of the team was wounded.
