The Free Patriotic Movement (FPM) called the Lebanese to act in a way that distances Lebanon from the repercussions that might result from the recent events in Gaza, in a statement issued on Saturday.
The statement read that the Lebanese are called upon to “act in a way that protects Lebanon from its repercussions and distances itself from the negative effects, beginning with the waves of displacement and asylum, as well as what the ongoing war in Palestine may cause.”
“The FPM calls upon the Lebanese to rise above divisions, realize the seriousness of the earthquake (referring to the recent events in Gaza) that the region is going through,” it added.
