On Thursday night, a patrol from the Information Division detained a bus carrying 12 Syrian passengers in Hamat.
These illegal migrants were heading towards Beirut and had entered Lebanon surreptitiously through an unauthorized crossing in Wadi Khaled.
After they were identified, they were handed over to the Batroun Police department before being sent back to Syria.
