The Israeli Security Agency revealed on Thursday the dismantling of a Hezbollah-affiliated cell that was attempting to smuggle explosives and weapons into the country.
“In a joint operation with the Israeli police and army last July, four Arab Israeli citizens from Kafr Qasim (Northern Israel) were arrested on suspicion of obtaining a variety of sophisticated weapons,” the Shin Bet announced in a statement.
The statement further detailed that “two Iranian-manufactured explosive devices and a number of weapons were found in the possession of the four Israelis.”
