Listen to the article

Two years ago, with a very small team, we were wandering the halls of our future offices, torn apart, and blown away by the odious crime of the Beirut port blast. Like all the Lebanese people, we rolled up our sleeves and launched a project that, a few months later, led to the birth of Ici Beyrouth.

Our entire motivated editorial team then embarked on a relentless effort to make our media a real success. The numbers are there, the success undeniable.

Ici Beyrouth has become a reference not only in the country’s media landscape but also internationally. In France, the United States, Canada, and French-speaking African countries…

From the start, we wanted to offer a global media platform, combining articles, reports, and web TV programs. Our ambition is to resonate with people’s concerns in this poor country. And there are many…

Today, we are launching This is Beirut, a sister media outlet. However, the editorial line remains the same: We fight for a sovereign Lebanon with no margin for compromise. A Lebanon of tolerance, of openness to its Arab and Western environment.

A Lebanon who is far from the culture of death that some political factions try to impose and whose values consist in promoting the culture of a serene and peaceful life bathed by the most beautiful of seas, the Mediterranean. We solemnly promise to be honest, not naively objective, or neutral.

News, analyses, pictures, reports, investigations, and quality content programs, produced in our studios… In a nutshell, This is Beirut is a complete media platform, who privileges interaction with the public to be the pulse of society.

Lastly, we are proud to provide employment opportunities to young and not-so-young talents. Because, if, in the end, crisis after crisis, Lebanon is drained of its talents, it will be relegated to the yellowed pages of history, and this is not an option.
