One person was killed on Tuesday after an Israeli airstrike targeted a motorcycle in the town of Batouliyeh, in the district of Tyre. Following the attack, the Israeli army announced that it had struck a Hezbollah operative in the Deir Qanoun area.
Earlier, an Israeli reconnaissance drone targeted an uninhabited house at the western entrance of Yaroun, which had been renovated by its owner after the end of the Israeli war last year. The wooded outskirts of Yaroun, in the Bint Jbeil district, were also subjected in the morning to intermittent Israeli artillery shelling.
On Monday night, two Israeli quadcopter drones arriving from the Salha position dropped explosive charges on a house in the town of Yaroun, further escalating tensions in the area.
In a separate incident on Monday night, an Israeli drone targeted a four-wheel-drive Mitsubishi vehicle with three guided missiles on the Doha – Kfar Roumman road toward Kfartibnit. The strike caused the vehicle to catch fire, killing two men from the town of Doueir, identified as Samer Alaa Hattit and Ahmad Abdel Nabi Ramadan.
