Sagesse played its first game in the al-Wahda friendly tournament on Thursday in the United Arab Emirates against Omani team al-Bashaer. The Lebanese team won by a score of 91-67.

The Greens’ new coach, Elias Zoros, opted for a starting five comprising Marc Khoueiry, Gerard Hadidian, Ahmad Ibrahim, Zach Lofton and Clint Chapman.

The first quarter proved competitive and tough for both teams, reflected in a 17-17 scoreline. In the second quarter, Sagesse pulled ahead and went into the second half with a 12-point lead (41-29).

Under Lofton’s leadership, Sagesse maintained its 12-point advantage (57-45). In the final quarter, the Lebanese team increased their lead to close the game with a score of 91-67.

Sagesse will face Fateh/FUS (Morocco) on Saturday at 5:30 PM Beirut time.
