The Automobile and Touring Club of Lebanon (ATCL) concluded its annual Open tennis tournament, which was held over two weeks on its courts under the supervision of the Lebanese Tennis Federation, with the participation of 355 male and female players.

In the final match of the men’s singles category, Giovani Samaha beat Mustafa al-Natour by two sets to nil (6-4, 6-1). On the other hand, Carmen Maria Azar beat her opponent Reina al-Jisr also by two sets to nil (6-2, 6-0).

Here are the final results for all categories:

Men:

– Under 10: Kevin Chamoun beat Elie Gemayel 5-3, 4-1.

– Under 12: Lucas Abou Chakra beat Rafael Azar 6-0, 6-2.

– Under 14: Elias Abou Rahal beat Gabriel Ghostine 6-1, 6-2.

– Under 18: Faisal Khaled beat Alexander Ghostine 6-2, 6-7, 7-6.

– Under 18 doubles: Elias Abou Rahal and Gabriel Ghostine beat Lucas Abou Chakra and Anthony Barakat 1-6, 6-1, 6-1 and 10-2.

– Men’s singles: Giovani Samaha beat Mustafa al-Natour 6-4, 6-1.

– Men’s doubles: Mustafa al-Natour and Giovani Samaha beat Karl Berbarian and Arman Garabedian 6-3, 6-3.

– Seniors over 35: Hatem Warda beat Mohamed Ataya 5-7 and retired.

– Veterans over 45: Peter Bou Aoun beat Suhail Zakka 6-1, 6-1.

– Veterans over 55: S. Karam beat Moussa Fakhoury 6-1, 6-1.

Women:

– Under 10 :

First place: Adriana Hanna

Second place: Emma Eid

– Under 12: Maria Hashash beat Mariam Kamareddine 6-3, 7-5.

– Under 14: Lama Naaman beat Haifa Taha al-Jundi 2-6, 6-2, 6-3.

– Under 18: Pamela Younis beat Serena Khoury 6-2, 6-3.

– Girls’ singles: Carmen Maria Azar beat Reina al-Jisr 6-2, 6-0.

– Girls’ doubles: Carmen Maria Azar and Marianne Berbarian beat Maria Khater and Lama Naaman 6-2, 6-1.
